How to book using our booking system?
We use Team Up for easy booking! All you need to do is follow the link from any of our BOOK NOW buttons or go to the book online page. Once you have an account you can access all classes. Some will be bookable as just 8 week courses, some payments must be made via the memberships TAB (including any part payments, like doing a 50% deposit for a course).
Pay Monthly Memberships
We have 4 weeks every month where you can attend a regular class time and pay a monthly fee.
All memberships are minimum 2 month contract every 2 months! To cover our 8 week courses.
You may cancel your renewal by cancelling in your dashboard 14 days before 1st of the month. Failure to cancel will mean you need to pay for your space that month in classes.
Payments, Refunds and Cancellations
Payment for group classes is taken either in cash, by bank transfer or by credit or debit card via our online payment merchant Paypal. Your place will only be secure once you have paid for your place.
Regardless of attendance you must pay the full balance for the month at the beginning of the month. We do not offer partial refunds or discounts. If you miss a month you may lose your class space, day or time.
We will not refund or transfer any payments once the month has begun regardless of circumstances. Strictly no refunds and the full balance will be owed regardless of attendance. By attending a class you agree to these terms. If you wish to cancel your membership we require 14 days notice. Any cancellation made within this time will still be subject to full payment of the next month.
You are automatically enrolled into the next month - if you wish to cancel your next course you must do so 14 days before 1st of the month - failure to do so will mean you are liable to pay for the full amount.
Cancellation of a single class - you will owe the full balance / not be refunded if this is within 24 hours of the class.
Cancellation of a masterclass or workshop - non-refundable and you will owe full balance if you cancel within 1 week of the class. Deposits for these classes is non-refundable with no exception. You will need to sell your space to have money back.
Missing a lesson
If you miss a lesson in your month, you are entitled to 1 free catch-up, additional catch ups are charged at £10 per hour. This free catch-up is non-transferable over the month, nor can it be transferred to a third party. You will not be entitled to have this as a refund either.
Private Tuition and Personal Training
Private sessions can be paid for in cash at the time of your lesson or in advance. Cancellations within 48 hours of your lesson are subject to pay the full amount. Cancellations before this time but will be fully refunded if already paid.
What to wear?
For Pole Fitness: A vest top and a pair of shorts (although avoid denim as this can be restrictive) is all you need. This allows for maximum grip of the pole by your skin. Shorts and vest tops can be purchased at the studio, along with a variety of grip aides including Dryhands and Liquid Chalk.
Group lessons will be in bare foot, but feel free to bring along a pair of high heels with straps (or they may fly off your feet!) to private lessons.
Please do not wear any lotion on the day of your lesson or jewelry as this can be dangerous. Also no jewelry on the hands or wrists.
For Aerial Hoops: a pair of leggings and any top is fine. Most prefer a leotard over leggings, but a normal vest top or t-shirt is fine. A pair of over the knee high socks is also recommended for beginners to help give extra padding behind the knee.
For Aerial Silks: you will need a non-shiny pair of leggings and preferred long or 3/4 sleeve leotard to cover skin to prevent silk burn. An ordinary leotard, vest top or tshirt is fine - but bear in mind you will be upside down, and leotards will not slip down.
Can I start pole fitness, aerial hoops and silks?
You are ready to start if you are aged 14 and above and of good health. You do not need to be strong or flexible before starting, you need no fitness or dance background to start lessons. Each lesson will have a light aerobic warm-up, some strength building exercises (particularly for upper body and core) and flexibility training.
Aerial silks, however, you will require a good basic strength before starting. We recommend having completed as a minimum Intermediate level 2 or 3 of pole fitness. Aerial hoops and pole fitness are roughly similar in the beginning ability - if you wish to jjoin a class it will simply be personal preference! Pole dancing does reach a far higher level of strength and fitness in the long run in comparison to aerial hoops.
If you are unsure about your health and starting pole dancing, please contact me or seek medical advice.
Feeling nervous about starting? Most people who are starting a beginners course will be feeling exactly the same, so don't worry, your nerves will soon go away as you discover your inner pole dancer! If you have any concerns, please feel free to contact me.
Which course? / Can I book an intermediate or advanced course if I have not done a beginners?
If you are worried that pole dancing might not be for you, but don't want to pay for a full month, try our FREE TASTER session or book a private lesson with one of our friendly instructors. This will allow you to try pole dancing and see if it is the right fitness for you!
In order to participate in the intermediate or advanced classes, you must have been assessed by an instructor, which can either be done during a private tuition class for £40 or you may attend a quiet class in the week for £15. Note we cannot accept anyone into higher level classes unless they have been visually assessed as our classes are structured a certain way, knowing your level really helps us to place you in the right class so you gain maximum benefits. If you would like to book a level, and have paid for the class assessment £15, we will discount this off your total course price.
If you wish to focus your pole lessons more around dancing and routines, then private tuition is the better route. You will be taught at your own pace and will have the opportunity to let your creativity flow by coming up with your own routines (help is always offered for dancers block :) ). Or book onto a Stripper Fit course.
